Default petstats

requesting /petstats... I'd like to see in numbers how much exp. my pet has, I'd also like to see in numbers what his dmg, armor and age are... and any other stats that he might have that I can look at for myself.

A negative to /petstats idea...

However maybe add a User Interface to see the pets starts the fancy way.. like we currently view our own stats.

How about a mini attribute window (extension of current one) where XP is displayed and you allocate points into specific stats for your pet. The number of points you get for your pet is based on how many points you put into BM.

This would then reflect how you have trained your pet.

Speed (dexterity/movement)
Defense (armour/evasion)
Attacks (overall damage)
Power(crit chance)

[Max 4 for any skill.]

This game definetly needs a boost on pets, no one seems to think they are effective and it seems limited on how much you can play around or see information about your pet, there should be distinct differences between all the different pets you can charm.

Great ideas... I'd also like to see more types pets in general. Melandru's Stalkers are rather stale.

Pet armour! Why not, horses had barding, elephants had their tusks capped and body armour, fighting dogs get spiked collars and so on... One more way to make a pet a bit more unique, plus maybe a chance to put a rune on them... I do think pets suffer a bit more damage than they should - if they are hitting an AL of 60 that would explain it, they are serving as tanks essentially in caster armour.

I'm all for decorative effects on animals as well - I know right now they are just the model essentially, but it'd be neat to give them visual effects based on the player's attributes. A few choices of pet model wouldn't hurt either, if you could customize them. Hard to tell animals apart as it stands, and you'd think the Ranger/Monk's pet might look a little different than a Necro/Ranger's.

There also needs to be a way to evaluate the damage a pet does in combat realtime so a person can test different skills and styles and see the results. I'd like to see what damage my pet is doing just like I can see what damage I am doing.

Another cool thing would be to dye your pet's fur.
